Cavtat apartments Tomic

The easiest way to reach Cavtat and Apartments Tomic is by air. Dubrovnik has an international airport, which provides direct or indirect connections via Zagreb to many European cities. Cilipi Airport is 4 km from Cavtat; there is no direct bus connection but we run a constant shuttle (for a small fee) to and from the airport and Apartments Tomic can to meet your incoming flight and to make sure you arrive at the airport on time for departure!

Buses are an inexpensive way of travelling in Croatia and to Cavtat. The bus services are well organised and even the smallest villages have some sort of bus connection. There are long-distance express buses that are very comfortable.

There are also car-ferry connections with Rijeka, Split and the Italian coast.

If you decide to come by car you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Croatian scenery along the way. To enter and drive in Croatia you require a green insurance card and a valid national or international driving licence. Traffic is heavier during the summer months and parking could be a problem. We offer private parking to our guests!

From Dubrovnik: Apartments Tomic are located about 14 km south of Dubrovnik (about 20 minutes’ drive) on the scenic coast road leading to the airport. After passing the sign Obod you need to turn left after 40 meters. You will see the street on your left side. On the bottom of that street is a telephone booth. When you arrive on the top of the street turn right and you will came in front of the Apartments Tomic.

From Dubrovnik Airport: Apartments Tomic are about 4 km from the airport. When leaving the airport turn right on to the main road from the airport toward Dubrovnik. After 5 minutes driving you will cross the small bridge, then 50 meters more you need to turn right. You will see the street in front of you, on your right side you will see a telephone booth. You need to drive to the top of the street, than turn right and you will come in front of the Apartments Tomic.

• The underwater world of Cavtat is very attractive for diving activities. In imminent proximity, next to the small islands of Cavtat Mrkan, Bobara and Supetar you can find some antique places of discovery, the biggest and most attractive in the Adriatic Sea, ranking among the biggest ones in the Mediterranean. The places of discovery with over 1800 amphorae and dolii originating from the 1st century before and from the 1st and 2nd century after Common Era are very precious. Next to these places of discovery, the underwater world of Cavtat also bears many beautiful underwater walls that reach a depth of 100 metres, underwater caves and sunk ships from the antiquity up to the latest past.
• The Cavtat Summer is the annual series of cultural and entertainment events lasting from the end of June until the beginning of September.

It contains various cultural and entertainment programmes, such as dance and music shows, street performances, classical music concerts, etc. All events are free of charge.
